Discipline

Discipline is a key component to effective school management. Classroom discipline refers to the strategies a teacher uses to manage pupils behaviors and attitudes during instruction time. A teacher who uses consistent discipline strategies exhibits more effective class management than an inconsistent teacher.

In our school we use preventive discipline. We have well spelt out rules and regulations that explain the expected behavior and corresponding consequences that will follow a forbidden act or behavior.

Every parent is expected to read and understand the rules and the consequences before admitting their child in our school. The parent should commit themselves that they will help their child to abide by the said rules.

The preventative discipline strategy creates a safe, non-confrontational classroom atmosphere in which pupils feel that they understand what is to come.

Corporal punishment is forbidden in our school. Parents should let the directors know in case their children are subjected to caning, flogging or any other form of harassment. You can reach the directors using a SMS on 0722330624.
